Rebecca A. Logue

P1010911 Rebecca A. Logue is the daughter of Bill and Betty Snodgrass, longtime poets/members/officers until their near-fatal car crash in July 2012. They are the ones who strongly encouraged her to become a member of the Peoria Poetry Club. Since then, Rebecca, who was born in Indiana and grew up in Peoria, has garnered first, second and Honorable Mentions in the Edgar Lee Masters Poetry Contest and a first, second and third place in the Carl Sandburg College Poetry Competition. In the fall of 2014, she was asked to read her 1st-place poem at a dinner for the Carl Sandburg College Foundation members. The next weekend, she read two of her poems about Native Americans at a large Veterans Pow Wow.
Rebecca has one son, Mark, daughter-in-law Stephanie, and three grandchildren: Nathan, Madelyn and Levi.
She retired from Mitsubishi Motors in Normal, in 2014, and lives in Chillicothe.
