Blue-Winter

Winter Blue

Before the sun seeps into dawn,
Moon shadows creep across my lawn
To grace the freshly fallen snow
With subtle shades of indigo
And bid the frozen silence keep
Its vigil whilst the sunbeams sleep,
Lest one should wake to filter through
And break the spell of winter blue.
